With over a decade of experience in The Rite Journey programme, I have had the privilege of leading its implementation at CBC and introducing it to both Mazenod College and Kolbe Catholic College. This journey has allowed me to witness its profound impact on more than 1500 students, fostering their development through a contemporary rite of passage.

My experience in college leadership teams has further developed my ability to guide schools in adopting and nurturing this transformative programme. My experience encompasses various critical aspects of The Rite Journey. I can offer comprehensive support in organising ceremonies, ensuring they are meaningful, encapsulating individual school context and nuances. This includes understanding and engaging the importance of symbolism, parental and mentor involvement, and the practical running of ceremonies. Additionally, I can provide guidance on setting up and assessing challenge programs, ensuring they are both engaging and educational. The camp/abyss experiences are another area where I can offer valuable insights, helping schools to plan and execute these pivotal components of The Rite Journey. I am also adept at aligning the programme with the school curriculum and timetable, ensuring it complements and enhances the existing educational framework. Staffing and class organisation are crucial for the smooth operation of The Rite Journey, and I can assist schools in optimising these aspects. Furthermore, my experience allows me to offer mentorship and support for The Rite Journey coordinator, helping them navigate the challenges and maximise the benefits of the programme. My knowledge of classroom pedagogies and practices ensures that The Rite Journey is effectively integrated into everyday teaching.
